Landen's Story
Landen was a little boy that battled a rare disorder- DNA Ligase IV Deficiency. This disorder resulted in small stature (Primordial Dwarfism) and immune deficiency which led to Landen needing a bone marrow transplant in 2017. After his transplant, many complications arose that eventually led to multiple organ failure. Landen passed away September 13, 2019.
During his short nine years, Landen impacted hundreds of thousands around the world. His personality would light up any room he was in. He was so full of life and energy! At times it was hard to keep up with him! He never met a stranger and loved to make conversation. Helping others was something he loved to do. When Landen was in the hospital a few weeks before his passing, he knew his good friend (Ms. Lois) was going to be having heart surgery. He started talking about things he wanted to do for her while she was in the hospital. Landen never got to do those things, but his Nana was sure to fulfill what Landen wanted to do for Ms. Lois.
Most importantly, Landen was a little boy who possessed strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. When he was five years old, he decided to repent of his sin and follow Jesus with his life. Today, he is completely healed and in the presence of the Lord who he served faithfully in his short life.
